In the end and after three months away from this, I’ve missed writing blogs on here. So I’ve decided to start them up again. But with a bit of a difference because I’m now changing the site into one where you can pay me for your continuing subscription.
For the moment access to all posts remains free, as it has been with all of my writing since 2010. But during my break, I’ve decided it would be fair enough for me to start charging from now on for what is, after all, my work.
So though open access blog posts will continue, from later in May some posts for paid subscribers only will begin.
And you can begin your paid subscription now, from the link below, for either £6 a month or £50 for the whole year.
For this, you’ll get all my writings and photography, all discussions and access to my archive as it builds up.
I’ve missed blogging, as I said, as my natural mode of both thinking and expression so I’m glad to be back. And also to be returning as a A Sense of Place, still the best phrase for describing what this blog is about. The living of a life here in Liverpool. Walking around and beyond the wider city, telling my stories, and yes, contemplating the many meanings of life in the 21st Century, and what we’re all making of it, or could be. All that and some new ideas on the way.
New posts starting soon then. So here’s hoping you’ll upgrade aand read them all as they arrive.

For all who’ve been in touch about my well-being since late January, the ribs are nearly healed now thanks. And one thing coming up will be: “Moments In Time” the story of the book I wrote while I was recovering.
